How do I Change my WordPress Password?

There are a couple of ways to change your Password.

 

Main Login Screen:

Click on the Lost your password? link when signing in.

 

Administrator Dashboard:

1. Select Users

2. Select All Users

3. Click on the relevant User Name and the Edit User window will open

4. Scroll down to Account Management

5. New Password

6. Click Generate Password button

NOTE:: You can overwrite the automatically generated password by typing in your New Password in the box displayed.

7. Click Update User

 

Other Methods:

For the more advanced User, you can also get a new password via:
- the Automatic Emailer
- the MySQL command line where you can get an MD5 hash of your password
- if you have phpMyAdmin access to your database
- through  FTP
- via WP CLI
- Emergency Password Reset Script
